What We Offer

Piemont Enterprises Ltd. Presents: “Le Langhe And Their Wines”

Day one of our seven-day excursion, guests make private arrangements to meet Piemont Enterprises Ltd. at “Sandro Pertini” (formerly Citta’ Di Torino) International Airport or "Porta Nuova" train station. One of our charming hotels in the heart of Le Langhe wine region will be our first stop. After settling in, we'll visit a winery where we will enjoy a light snack while sipping marvelous Barolo. In the afternoon we will tour the Ratti wine museum and sample their world-renowned wines. Dinner to be decided.

Day two: After a walk through historic Neive, we will visit the vineyards and tasting room of the regional producers of Barbaresco. We will have a light lunch at a lovely winery accompanied by an interesting selection of wines. The afternoon will be spent in the kitchen of a local restaurant where a professional chef will conduct a full-menu cooking lesson. Dinner will follow.

Day three: In the morning we'll move to the pastel colored hilltop village of Novello. After a nice walk we will visit a winery and have a guided tasting of unbeatable Barberas accompanied by a light snack. In the afternoon we will tour the magnificent fourteenth century Serralunga castle, followed by a tasting at one of the area's world renowned cellars. Dinner to be decided.

Days four & five: For two days we will leave the Langhe behind to visit either the mountains or the sea. A visit to the sea entails a trip to the Cinque Terre, five remarkable villages perched over the Mediterranean sea. On the way there we will stop to visit an olive oil producer and sample some famous Ligurian olive oil. Once in the Cinque Terre we'll tour the villages either by foot or by train and sip the local white wines while enjoying a seafood dinner.

Optionally: We will head to Courmayeur where (in season) we will take a cablecar to the top of Mont Blanc and the top of the world! At our feet we'll see France and Italy. Back on solid ground we can hike up into the Alps to take in once in a lifetime vistas. We will stay the night at a charming hotel in Courmayeur and dine on rich mountain fare.

Day six: This final day will be spent in medieval Alba. First shopping at the famous outside market and then a guided tour of the historic center brimming with boutiques and gastronomic shops. After a light lunch in one of Alba's many fabulous "bars", we will visit a winery followed by a visit to the royal compound of Fontanafredda and the Bela Rosin, the home built and named for King Vittorio's beloved wife. Dinner to be decided.

Day seven: After breakfast and a leisure filled morning we will escort you back to the airport.

· Although flights are not included, we will be happy to help you make your travel arrangements.
· Our aim is complete adherence to our itineraries, however, some changes may occur due to circumstances beyond our control. As most of the wineries that we visit are small and family-owned, their working hours vary and substitution may be inevitable.
· No prices are listed as they vary according to options chosen, duration of tour and number of persons on tour.
